Mulher brasileira...Brazilian woman

Olá!
São 22h de quinta-feira... noite tranquila...
Voltando a falar sobre a imagem da mulher brasileira, carnaval,etc....
Hoje conversando com um amigo meu, de Portugal sobre a imagem  da mulher brasileira divulgada pela mídia, ele me confirmou o que eu já sabia... é isso mesmo... tanta propaganda sobre o  carnaval, entre outras coisas, afeta nocivamente a nossa imagem lá fora.
Somos vistas como "mulheres fáceis",  mulheres vulgares.
Nas minhas viagens eu não tive problema, talvez pela idade,  mas quando eu sorria em alguma loja por exemplo,  eles (os homens)  perguntavam : voce é brasileira, não é ? e eu questionei mais de uma vez para ver se a resposta era a mesma : como voce sabe?
E eles respondiam, pelo seu sorriso , seu rosto.
Claro que isso não me convenceu com certeza, já sabendo a reputação nossa, mas fiz de conta que eu acreditava.

Mas o que eles ( a mídia) não divulgam é a mulher brasileira  guerreira,  forte,  trabalhadeira...
Muitas delas ficam sozinhas com seus filhos e trabalham  para criá-los e educá-los com honestidade e dignidade... 
essa é só uma faceta da verdadeira mulher brasileira que a mídia raramente fala.
É isso...

Of course this did not convince me of course, already knowing our reputation but I pretended I believed.
But what they (the media) do not disclose is the warrior Brazilian woman, strong, hardworking ...Many of them are alone with their children and work to bring them up and educate them with honesty and dignity ...
 this is only one facet of the real Brazilian woman that the media rarely speaks.
