Meu "turismo"....

Obrigada por você estar aqui . Seja sempre bem-vindo(a)

Hoje falarei diferente de  outros dias...irei deixar sair os meus pensamentos livremente..Então....

Viajar é para mim sempre uma terapia...saio da minha rotina e entro em modo " feliz"...feliz em conhecer outras culturas, outros lugares,em conhecer pessoas, em ver e observar paisagens e lugares antes nunca imaginados por mim.

Quando eu viajo eu faço um roteiro, mas durante a viagem , conforme eu gosto e pesquiso, mudo completamente...e isso já aconteceu várias vezes...com em Colônia, na Alemanha...fui para ficar 3 dias e acabei ficando 7 dias por que me apaixonei pela cidade...e assim outras tantas vezes... Praga na República Tcheca, foi outra... aumentei mais 4 dias na cidade e ficaria muito mais se o dinheiro não fosse acabando...😂...

Sou uma viajante e não uma turista. Eu gosto de andar sem rumo pela cidade, sentar num barzinho e observar os nativos da cidade...

andar por lugares que nada tem a ver com o turismo, e assim conhecer as pessoas locais.

Quem me vê andando pelas ruas não imagina que eu seja uma turista comum, até porque não carrego mochiilas, nem garrafa de água,etc... somente pelas fotos que eu tiro, quem sabe eu dê alguma dica...fotografo tudo que meus olhos gostam e que sinto na alma.

Como eu sempre digo, eu não faço turismo,eu viajo e aproveito o meu tempo desbravando lugares não turísticos.

Gostei dessa citação da IA : "Viajar é vivenciar os lugares em vez de apenas marcar uma lista de tarefas. É sobre trocar o roteiro engessado por uma imersão na cultura e absorver a rotina local, em vez de seguir o óbvio."

É  isso que eu faço realmente.

Hoje irei deixar fotos das cidades citadas: Colônia e Praga.

Thank you for being here. You are always welcome!

Today I will speak differently than other days... I will let my thoughts flow freely. So....

Traveling is always therapy for me... I get out of my routine and enter "happy" mode... happy to get to know other cultures, other places, to meet people, to see and observe landscapes and places I never imagined before.

When I travel I make an itinerary, but during the trip, as I like and research, I change it completely... and this has happened several times... like in Cologne, Germany... I went to stay 3 days and ended up staying 7 days because I fell in love with the city... and so many other times... Prague in the Czech Republic was another...

 I added 4 more days in the city and would have stayed much longer if the money hadn't run out...😂...

I am a traveler and not a tourist. I like to wander aimlessly through the city, sit in a small bar and observe the city's natives...

Walk through places that have nothing to do with tourism, and thus get to know the local people.

Those who see me walking the streets don't imagine that I'm a typical tourist, especially since I don't carry backpacks, water bottles, etc... only through the photos I take, maybe I can give some advice... I photograph everything that my eyes like and that I feel in my soul.

As I always say, I don't do tourism, I travel and enjoy my time exploring non-touristy places.

I liked this quote from IA: "Traveling is about experiencing places instead of just checking off a to-do list. It's about exchanging a rigid itinerary for immersion in the culture and absorbing the local routine, instead of following the obvious."

That's what I really do.

Lago Braies-Dolomitas-Itália

 Boa noite!

Desculpem a ausência, estive adoentada e ainda estou, porém não posso deixá-los mais tanto tempo sem minha presença...😃

Hoje vamos falar o Lago di Braies, nas Dolomitas,norte da Itália.

Pois então, o Lago di Braies, ou Pragser Wildsee (nome alemão), 

é considerado por muitos o lago mais bonito das Dolomitas e até mesmo da Itália – e olha que existem competidores de respeito no país da bota! 

Aliás, ele ganha destaque inclusive em listas mundiais. 

O Lago di Braies fica na comune de Braies, província de Bolzano, na região do Trentino-Alto Ádige. 

Essa é a região mais ao norte da Itália, fazendo fronteira com a Áustria e Suíça.

As Dolomitas, por si só, já são um caso à parte. Na minha opinião, a cadeia de montanhas forma as paisagens mais deslumbrantes da Itália.

Ter a oportunidade de conhecer essa jóia da natureza e, no caminho, se deparar com um lago mais turquesa do que se é capaz de imaginar, é realmente impagável.

 O nome italiano "Lago di Braies" remonta a 1940, enquanto no primeiro Guia de 1923 ainda aparece apenas como "Pragser Wildsee".

Possui uma extensão de cerca de 31 hectares, com 1,2 km de comprimento e 300-400 metros de largura. É um dos lagos mais profundos da província autônoma de Bolzano , com uma profundidade máxima de 36 metros e uma profundidade média de 17 metros. A temperatura máxima da água é de 14 °C. Trata-se de um lago de barragem, pois sua formação se deve ao represamento do rio Prags por um deslizamento de terra desprendido do filão de Herrstein.

Como podem ver, eu amei esse lago...fiz o contorno na trilha por mais de uma hora e a cada passo eu me embevecia com as imagens...

isso foi em 2023.

Sorry for my absence, I've been ill and still am, but I can't leave you all so long without my presence...😃

Today we're going to talk about Lake Braies, in the Dolomites, northern Italy.

So, Lake Braies, or Pragser Wildsee (German name), is considered by many to be the most beautiful lake in the Dolomites and even in Italy – and there are some serious competitors in the country!

In fact, it even stands out in world lists.

Lake Braies is located in the comune of Braies, province of Bolzano, in the Trentino-Alto Adige region.

This is the northernmost region of Italy, bordering Austria and Switzerland.

The Dolomites, in themselves, are a special case. In my opinion, the mountain range forms the most breathtaking landscapes in Italy.

Having the opportunity to see this jewel of nature and, along the way, encountering a lake more turquoise than one could imagine, is truly priceless.

The Italian name "Lago di Braies" dates back to 1940, while in the first Guide from 1923 it still appears only as "Pragser Wildsee".

It has an area of ​​approximately 31 hectares, with a length of 1.2 km and a width of 300-400 meters. It is one of the deepest lakes in the autonomous province of Bolzano, with a maximum depth of 36 meters and an average depth of 17 meters. The maximum water temperature is 14 °C. It is a dammed lake, as its formation is due to the damming of the Prags River by a landslide from the Herrstein dike.

As you can see, I loved this lake... I walked the trail for over an hour and with each step I was captivated by the views...

A lenda do Lago Misurina

Conforme prometido, aqui está a lenda do Lago Misurina nas Dolomitas.

Pelo menos duas lendas estão associadas ao Lago Misurina.  

Popularizada por uma canção chamada "Il lago di Misurina" de Claudio Baglioni, Misurina é uma menina caprichosa e rancorosa que vive literalmente na palma da mão de seu pai gigantesco, o rei Sorapiss. 

Ele é transformado em uma montanha para realizar outro desejo e obter para ela o espelho mágico da Rainha do Monte Cristallo .

 Durante os últimos estágios da transformação, ele vê sua filha cair e suas lágrimas fluem como rios e formam o lago sob o qual sua filha viverá para sempre com o espelho mágico. 

Na outra lenda, Mesurina (que mais tarde recebe um apelido) é filha de ricos mercadores de Veneza , enviada para as montanhas pelo pai, ansioso por não cumprir uma profecia que a obrigaria a entregar todos os seus bens. 

Após alguns eventos amorosos trágicos que lembram Romeu e Julieta, a jovem morre, sendo reconhecida à beira da morte por um amante de quem fora levada por engano dos estábulos do pai e por um servo enviado por ele.

At least two legends are associated with Lake Misurina. Popularized by a song called "Il lago di Misurina" by Claudio Baglioni, Misurina is a capricious and spiteful girl who literally lives in the palm of her gigantic father's hand, King Sorapiss.

He is transformed into a mountain to fulfill another wish and obtain for her the magic mirror of the Queen of Monte Cristallo.

During the final stages of the transformation, he sees his daughter fall and her tears flow like rivers and form the lake under which his daughter will live forever with the magic mirror.

In the other legend, Mesurina (who later receives a nickname) is the daughter of wealthy Venetian merchants, sent to the mountains by her father, anxious to avoid fulfilling a prophecy that would oblige her to hand over all her possessions.

After some tragic love events reminiscent of Romeo and Juliet,

the young woman dies, only to be recognized on her deathbed by a lover from whom she had been mistakenly taken from her father's stables, and by a servant sent by him.

Lago Misurina

Olá!

Demorei um pouquinho, né? 

Tive alguns probleminhas e isso me afastou um pouco daqui, mas vamos continuar.

Hoje vamos para outro lugar, o lago Misurina, na mesma região da Cortina D'ampezzo,  na Itália.

Da próxima vez contarei a lenda sobre o lago.

"Lago Misurina, nas Dolomitas"

Nos Alpes Italianos,  o Lago Misurina é um dos lagos alpinos que mais está presente no roteiro das pessoas que viajam pelas Dolomitas. Aliás, toda essa região é linda .

O Lago Misurina ( italiano : Lago di Misurina ; dialeto Cadorino : Lago de Meśorìna ) é o maior lago natural do Cadore . fica a 1.754  m acima do nível do mar , perto de Auronzo di Cadore ( Belluno ). 

O perímetro do lago tem 2,6 km de extensão, enquanto a profundidade máxima é de 5 m.

É possível avistar Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Monte Cristallo, Cadini e Sorapis, o granderesponsável por uma das maiores lendas locais.

Lago Misurina no inverno

Como é de se esperar, suas águas congelam no inverno, dando lugar a uma camada de gelo tão grande que é possível patinar no local. 

As características climáticas ao redor do lago proporcionam um ar particularmente bom para pessoas com doenças respiratórias. 

Próximo ao lago está o único centro na Itália dedicado ao tratamento da asma infantil , localizado no Grand Hotel Misurina .

O lago foi tema de uma canção de Claudio Baglioni . 

O Lago Misurina é o tema da representação teatral das Longane di Lozzo .

O lago Misurina sediou as provas de patinação de velocidade durante os Jogos Olímpicos de Inverno de 1956 em Cortina d'Ampezzo – a última vez que as provas olímpicas de patinação de velocidade foram realizadas em gelo natural.

"Lake Misurina, in the Dolomites"

In the Italian Alps, Lake Misurina is one of the alpine lakes most frequently included in the itineraries of people traveling through the Dolomites. In fact, the whole region is beautiful.

Lake Misurina (Italian: Lago di Misurina; Cadorino dialect: Lago de Meśorìna) is the largest natural lake in Cadore. It is located 1,754 m above sea level, near Auronzo di Cadore (Belluno).

The lake's perimeter is 2.6 km long, while the maximum depth is 5 m.

It is possible to see Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Monte Cristallo, Cadini and Sorapis, the great source of one of the greatest local legends.

Lake Misurina in winter

As expected, its waters freeze in winter, giving way to a layer of ice so thick that it is possible to skate on it.

The climatic characteristics around the lake provide particularly good air for people with respiratory illnesses.

Near the lake is the only center in Italy dedicated to the treatment of childhood asthma, located in the Grand Hotel Misurina.

The lake was the subject of a song by Claudio Baglioni.

Lake Misurina is the subject of the theatrical performance of the Longane di Lozzo.

Lake Misurina hosted the speed skating events during the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo – the last time Olympic speed skating events were held on natural ice.

Aqui tem sol e a temperatura está agradável...e eu preferi ficar por casa hoje...😄

Bem, continuemos com a Cortina D'Ampezzo, comuna italiana da região do Vêneto, província de Belluno,Itália.

Como eu disse na última conversa aqui, eu fiz um bate e volta do qual me arrependi, pois deveria ter desbravado mais a comuna..mas enfim, já foi, né?

Procurei mais alguma coisa sobre a comuna, mas tem poucas informações... essas abaixo foi as que eu encontrei e achei interessante compartilhar:

 "Cortina" refere-se à vila central, e "d'Ampezzo" porque localiza-se no vale de Ampezzo(não encontrei a tradução para essa palavra).

 É uma cidade poética com arquitetura alpina, ruas elegantes  e já sediou os Jogos Olímpicos de Inverno. "

Eu estive na Primavera e portanto as flores se encontravam por toda a parte...o que eu amei ver.

Bem´por ora é isso.

How's your Sunday going?

It's sunny here and the temperature is pleasant...and I preferred to stay home today...haha

Well, let's continue with Cortina D'Ampezzo, an Italian commune in the Veneto region, province of Belluno, Italy.

As I said in our last conversation here, I did a day trip that I regretted, because I should have explored the commune more...but anyway, it's done, right?

I looked for more information about the commune, but there's little information...these below are what I found and thought were interesting to share:

"Cortina" refers to the central village, and "d'Ampezzo" because it is located in the Ampezzo valley (I couldn't find a translation for this word).

It's a poetic city with Alpine architecture, elegant streets, and has hosted the Winter Olympic Games. "

I was there in Spring, so the flowers were everywhere...which I loved seeing.

Cortina D'Ampezzo,Itália

 Olá! 

As duas últimas  escritas foram muito pesadas, não?

Então vamos suavizar hoje, voltando a minha última viagem, 2023.

Comecei por Milão e hoje vamos para Cortina D'Ampezzo,

 norte da Itália.

Cortina d'Ampezzo, conhecida como a "Rainha das Dolomitas",

 é uma comuna italiana charmosa na província de Belluno, Vêneto. Famosa estação de esqui e Patrimônio Mundial da Unesco,

 oferece cenários alpinos, luxo na Corso Italia 

e esportes de inverno de classe mundial. 

A temporada de neve vai de Dezembro a Março.

Uma comuna linda e que eu voltaria com certeza para explorar mais.

Fiz um bate e volta desde Auronzo di Cadore, 

onde eu estava hospedada.

Eu queria ter feito a trilha que vai até as montanhas,porém o pouco tempo me impediu de fazer. 

Quem sabe uma próxima vez..rsrs

Posso dizer que eu me arrependi de não ter ficado lá mais um dia.

Mas, faz parte das decisões de viagens e do pouco tempo que me restava.

Na ida de trem até Auronzo di Cadore eu conheci um simpático casal que reside em Cortina,

 e que eu os tenho em meu Whats.

Então por hoje é isso...

The last two posts were quite heavy, weren't they?

So let's lighten things up today, going back to my last trip, 2023.

I started in Milan and today we're going to Cortina D'Ampezzo, northern Italy.

Cortina d'Ampezzo, known as the "Queen of the Dolomites,"

is a charming Italian commune in the province of Belluno, Veneto. 

A famous ski resort and UNESCO World Heritage Site,

it offers alpine scenery, luxury on the Corso Italia, and world-class winter sports.

The snow season runs from December to March.

A beautiful commune that I would definitely return to explore more.

I did a day trip from Auronzo di Cadore, where I was staying.

I wanted to do the trail that goes up the mountains, 

but the limited time prevented me from doing it.

Maybe next time... 😉

I can say that I regretted not staying there another day.

But, it's part of travel decisions and the little time I had left.

On the train ride to Auronzo di Cadore I met

 a nice couple who live in Cortina,

and I have them on my WhatsApp.

So that's it for today...

"Os sapatos a beira do Danúbio"

 Olá!

Prometi continuar com o mesmo assunto, porém estou sem o notebook que contém as fotos desta viagem a Colônia, então irei continuar hoje com o mesmo assunto, só que com fotos  de Budapeste, Hungria.É  mais um episódio doloroso e triste este.

Estive lá, me emocionei muito e lamentei tamanha atrocidade.

"Os sapatos a beira do  Danúbio"

"O monumento " Os Sapatos na Margem do Danúbio" foi erguido em 16 de abril de 2005 em Budapeste , Hungria . 

Idealizado pelo cineasta Can Togay , foi criado na margem leste do rio Danúbio em parceria com o escultor Gyula Pauer  para homenagear as milhares de pessoas massacradas pela milícia fascista húngara do Partido da Cruz Flechada em Budapeste durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial . 

As vítimas eram obrigadas a tirar os sapatos (que eram valiosos e poderiam ser roubados e revendidos pelos militares após o massacre) e eram fuziladas na margem do rio, de modo que seus corpos caíssem na água e fossem levados pela correnteza.

 O monumento representa os sapatos deixados para trás na margem.

A composição intitulada 'Sapatos na Margem do Danúbio' presta homenagem às 23.500 pessoas, 20.000 delas judias, que foram fuziladas e lançadas no Danúbio durante o período do terror da Cruz Flechada. 

O escultor criou sessenta pares de sapatos de época em ferro.

 Os sapatos estão fixados no aterro de pedra e, atrás deles, encontra-se um banco de pedra com 40 metros de comprimento e 70 cm de altura. 

Em três pontos, há placas de ferro fundido com o seguinte texto em húngaro, inglês e hebraico: "Em memória das vítimas fuziladas e lançadas no Danúbio por milicianos da Cruz Flechada em 1944-1945."

This is another painful and sad episode.

I was there, I was very moved and I lamented such an atrocity.

"Shoes on the Danube Bank"

"The monument "Shoes on the Danube Bank" was erected on April 16, 2005 in Budapest, Hungary.

Conceived by filmmaker Can Togay, it was created on the east bank of the Danube River in partnership with sculptor Gyula Pauer to honor the thousands of people massacred by the Hungarian fascist militia of the Arrow Cross Party in Budapest during World War II.

The victims were forced to remove their shoes (which were valuable and could be stolen and resold by the military after the massacre) and were shot on the riverbank, so that their bodies would fall into the water and be carried away by the current.

The monument represents the shoes left behind on the bank.

The composition entitled 'Shoes on the Danube Bank' pays homage to the 23,500 people, 20,000 of them Jewish, who were shot." and thrown into the Danube during the Arrow Cross Reign of Terror.

The sculptor created sixty pairs of period shoes in iron.

The shoes are fixed to the stone embankment, and behind them is a stone bench 40 meters long and 70 cm high.

In three places, there are cast iron plaques with the following text in Hungarian, English, and Hebrew: "In memory of the victims shot and thrown into the Danube by Arrow Cross militiamen in 1944-1945."
